Joe's 190g 60x36x20 SLOW Mixed Reef Build.......

Oh yes, i have found my sump! Costco has 100g rubbermaid stock tanks for $60. Im gonna have to cut a litle bit of the top though. Id have to put my skimmer in it, THEN put the sump in the stand. So I figure I can cut a good 8-10" off the top of the tub.

Yeah, and the "large tank club member" is kinda a joke, since the nerds in my area want to try to enforce some rules and bylaws for our area lol. I didnt know you had some high end stuff, like that 12 bulb fixture. I wish I didnt have a huge brace on my tank so I could use one of them too.

Yea, for the lighting I really wanted to go all T5. AO gives a 10% discount and free shipping on all equipment with the tank purchase. So in the end the Sfiligoi was about the same price as buying an ice cap retro (factoring the cost savings on bulbs due to active cooling v. overdriving), but much prettier :)

Lol. They were discrediting my posts in the old section on here I used to go frequent, so I took it off.

I got the lumenarcs in today! Man, these things are so reflective, its crazy. Im gonna paint the outside of em black tomorrow.

Alright, so these things are black and sexy. Now I just need my ballast and skimmer to come in! I sold some X5 headlights for a few hundred bucks too, so I can afford to get some VHO's for when my halides are off.

alright, so Ive Finally made up my mind on my overflow set up situation. I am going to cut out the top half of that back right overflow. I am however going to leave bottom 1/3 or so where the outlets are. I am going to put a sort of plastic gutter guard over the top of it, and that is where my little spray bar will extend from. Now above this little box will be my Tunze Wavebox. I think that will end up working nicely.

I'll have the two tunzes blowing in towards the center front pane, from the rear corners. Along with that wavebox, just lowing from right to left. That should give some nice flow, being pair up with a spray bar, using either some sort of larger cheap rio, or around a mag 7-12.

Luv your Pom pup. Mine is 10, but I remember when she looked like that. :)

Two LAIII'3 will cover your tank perfectly. Have the bottom of the reflector 10" off the water surface and you'll be fine.

Thanks for assurance on the equipment. I really have been doubting everything I chose lately lol. Im torn on this overflow situation. I think Im gonna redrill the only overflow in the opposite corner to 1.5 or 2". I think its only at around 1" right now.

The little pom is about 6 months now I believe. She should stay that size. We have another little terror who is about 10 weeks now. Hes a chocolate little guy.
