Yes I have a budget lol. 6201s will be too much for me. I have a couple 6080s, and those feel like tons. I was thinking of getting a pair of 6100/6101s, and dumping my 6045s and dumping one of my 6080s. Then just having a 6080 and a pair of 6100s in my tank, with the 6080 revolving on a wavysea return.

Joe, I like that idea - a pair of 6101s on controller and the non-controllable 6080 on a wavysea. But, with the money you'd spend on a wavysea, you could just order another Tunze :lmao: HTH!!!

That should be plenty. The wavysea with the stream will be awesome. I think that's better then a wavebox.

Terry, I have thought about that lol. I was contemplating buying a cheap used seaswirl, and saving some money. Or I wonder what Johan Susanto used to rotate his Tunzes. It looked like just a motorized device, nothing involving his return pump at all.

I haven't seen what J. Susanto has done. But between WavySea and SeaSwirl, I'd go Wavy. I've heard that SeaSwirls stop swirling after a while.

So I got screwed. I got real bored, and filled the 190g up with fresh water, and wanted to see how the 6080s would perform together. I go to plug one of them in, and IT DOESNT WORK! the propeller stays stationary, while the inside shaft keeps spinning. The piece that clicks out and makes them connect is missing. What a POS, now I gotta file a paypal claim.

There is a little flipper that comes out of the propeller shaft. It basically catches the propeller to engage with the shaft. Its missing. The shaft spins freely, but there is nothing to catch hold of the propeller, so it stays stationary. Im too lazy to take pics right now lol.
