cliffy brought up the idea of PSI of the tank on the floor. With this 190g being only 20" tall, there would really be less PSI than with my 60g cube that is 24" tall. If the 60g is safe, wouldnt this 190g be safe? I mean unless its just the overall weight that would cause a problem.

Do you have any friends that are engineers? PSI isnt the be-all and end-all, it tells you that you have less pressure than you would with a 24" high 60x36, but how exactly it relates to the added footprint that the PSI is now applied to, Im not sure....a quick google search revealed some places you might go to ask:

Finally placed my order for the RODI machine.

Richard at salty supply has been the man so far... he waived the shipping on my last order, and I believe its being waved on this order too. I was looking forward to my skimmer and lights, sure. But this $200 is th ebest $200 Ive spent on the hobby so far, I know it. Ive hated going to the water machine to top off my tank.

I like the floating canopy idea. I was thinking of doing that myself.
So Im a genius! To all of you who didnt know this already. Well, Im at least cheap. I got the Tunze slider pieces of crap that come with the 6080s, and I modded these. I cut them in half, so they are half the length. Then I cut the small 1/8" ridges off the back, so it lays flat. I took the Tunze mount, and I used weldon 4 to mount these guys to the very back right corner of the tank, where foam will be anyhow. Then I also used the weldon to mount these to the right side of the left overflow. Theyre still long enough so I can slide the 6080s up and down, and obviously they still pivot. I just saved myself $40+ per 
Today the stand will be painted. Im not sure if I should go with an off color. Im leaning to just black, but everything else is black, the back wall, the lumenarcs are black, do I want the stand to be black?

I have an idea. Shut your face and stay out of my thread then son. It only took you 5 posts to be labeled a POS. Youve been a member for less than a month, youre not one to tell me what this is all about. I use this as my blog more so than a build thread. Maybe you didnt see "SLOW" emphasized in my title.
