Does it work? Im thinking of yting some. Ive heARED it doesnt FFECT CORALS. Ive got some aptisia growning out of some zoa colonies. Trying to get rid of it without damaging zoas.

yes, it works. you can use kalk too, its the samething

Not exactly. I have tried kalk for majano and it just made them split instead of killing them. The Joe's juice nukes them almost every time.

funny this thread came up; today i killed a rogue aptasia, and a lot of the joe's juice cloud landed on a zoa colony. it's been about 8 hrs, and they still don't look happy

You can have my JJ Kalk works for me better, I even tried it on different one's (JJ) at the same time usink Kalk on others. Kalk killed, JJ not and yes, they where also in, by zoas, BUT I AM ALSO VERY CAREFULL TO KEEP IT OFF ZOAS, haven't had any problems with them.

I had a zoa colony once full of aiptasia. Some juice got on the zoas and they was closed for a couple days, but ended up opening back up and was fine.

Joes Juice will nuke some corals... I accidentally hit a few heads of blasto merletti killing a tulip anemone that hd nestled between the stalks and ended up nuking the whole grouping of blasto polyps. It made quick work of the tulip (they die easy, unlike Aips and majanos), but it decimated the blastos.

Joes juice has always worked well for me. I've never hurt any corals with it, but I am always careful to only get it on the aptaisia.

Got some today. That stuff really works. Def worth the 7.99 i paid for it at the critter. To bad I couldnt leave there with just the 1 purchase. I always find something else I want there.

Buy some fresh clams or shrimp, make the kalk paste and add the juice of the shellfish. I have no proof, but it works the same. JJ is hit or miss, if you kill the foot your golden, if not, double your trouble.

JJ has really helped me ~ more than kalk. I "might" have some berghia that have survived my flow but I kinda doubt it. Now if my arm was 6" longer I could reach the ones on the bottom. Even still, I wouldn't be able to get the ones in the back under the rock so IMO you have to have some natural predator too.
