John Guest Bulkhead Connector?

Does anyone know of a John Guest bulkhead connector that is waterproof? There is one out there that I found but it is for through cabinet mounting and not for use where a water-tight seal is needed. I am trying to put my ATO pump in my RO reservoir and would like to use a through container fitting so that I can close the lid on the container.

I would just use a half in threaded bulkhead and us pvc fitting to reduce to the size of pipe u want n go from there remember to use either plumber goup or thread tape on the fittings

These are John Guest fittings, I don't think there is a PVC to John Guest connector fitting is there?

no what u need is a reducer bushing between the bulkhead and that john guest fitting n then you will be good to go

Not sure where you heard that, but they seal just fine. If you're concerned just add an o-ring on the flange side. I've used these for years, never an issue.

There is a water tight JG bulkhead. I'll have to look it up, but I replaced the faucet in a Rubbermaid water cooler (mash tun for making beer) with one. No need to cobble something together...

Same exact part, different color.

This is what I have, the plastic nut in molded to the threaded piece. I believe my part # is Pl1212S. It's 3/8"x3/8" is the difference. It is water tight to at least 180°F in my application. IIRC the gasket was a separate part #. I believe you've been misled, and all of the JG bulkheads posted hear are in fact water tight when installed correctly.

I just said that a person could add an O-ring if it made them feel better. I've been using these for 10 yrs + and I agree, they seal just fine in the first place.

Thanks all. I found that fitting with my first search and where ever I was looking at it said it wasn't for watertight bulkhead seals. But I see that will work so that's the one I'll go with.
