I probably missed it in the 13 pages I read through today and yesterday, but why did you chose to go with drilling the back wall and using a pre-filter vs. drilling the PVC bottom and using an internal overflow with holes in the bottom?
Thats the nice thing about the PVC bottom easy to drill and not stress on the glass...just wondering.
