July coral update (dialup beware!)

I know that you guys are just dyin' for some more picsLOL.

I finally cleaned up the mess behind the tank and the whole space is now accessible. I promptly took the advantage to take topdown pics from some of the corals that are placed towards the back. The actinic lights are out (probably the stupid ballast again) so the pics don't look as blue.


Cyphastrea decadia; a SPS-looking LPS that is really a gem. It doesn't deserve being showed against the back wall; but real estate in my tank is a very competitive market






Blue-polyped purple A.granulosa. It is doing very well.






Is this blue enough for you? A.vermiculata






Magnificent blue with aqua corallites A.insignis. One of the two colonies that I have in my tank

i want your tank!! in your second last pic post in the third pic, i c you have some dead sps.. why? i have somr corals in my tank doing exellent and some corals doing that..curious.

Have you seen my glowing green candycane? You probably have; since I've posted its pics before. But here is another pic anyway

Another colony that is not quite as glowing; but still very nice

Very nice growth pattern of A.turaki. This frag has doubled in size in 6 months and turned from teal to blue

New frag of bright pink birdnest. Its tips have almost a blue color

you should check into getting some SPS corals for your tank. I think you would like them.

I took some pics under actinic light yesterday. I think they look cool ( in a eerie kinda way), . They sure do flouresce.
