I had to leave the house last night around 9:30, when I returned home around 11, I saw what looked like at fur ball next to the tank as soon as I walked in. I went and got a papertowel and as I went to pick it up I noticed it was my pink spotted watchman. I thought he was a gonner, there was no puddle around him and he looked like he'd been there for a little while. It's a wonder the cats didn't get him. Anyway as I was about to have a seaside funeral, I noticed a gasp of air. I quickly floated him at the surface of the tank and after 30 seconds he spurted out of my hands, but then stopped turned upside down and sank to the bottom. My cleaner shrimp quickly pounced, turned him right side up and started picking at him. He began swimming. I watched him for about 30 minutes, he seem very disoriented like he'd never been in the tank. This morning, he's still alive and has found his old cave. We'll see how it goes.

I have a open top on my 180 because I use MH lighting. I got up the other day and found my diamond Golby on the floor about 10 feet away from my tank. He was very dead. I am not sure if I want to get another one if they do so much jumping.

I found a freshwater mystery snail I was acclimated last night sitting on the carpet being kicked around by the cat. We had him slow drip accimating for almsot 2 hours (well, Jessica did, and forgot about it,) so we had a nice puddle in the floor and no idea how long the snail had been used as a soccer ball. As of this morning he was working the front tank glass like it was the tastiest thing in the world.
