Michael,
I tried to go to the Ghl Wiki, which was created for direct questions to you right as I was having to tear down. I am looking at getting a new tank up and going again and have a few questions. Here or direct me elsewhere?

I have the ProfiLux Plus II. Back then an expansion; bigger screen expanded ports, ect was being talked about. I see an expansion pack, but it seems it adds things I don't really need at this time. All I would be looking to add at this time is the Touch. Options???

I will be expanding to a third dimmable ballast. Another EVG-AP-2F or ????? The PLM-DALI seems to elude to taking care of all controls, but will that work for me.

I have no idea what firmware I left at, haven't tried to boot up yet. I was having restart problems before, where I could not power up after a power loss unless I jumper-ed and started over with a firmware load. We never figured out the issue, but maybe updates will help. Can I jump to newest firmware or where there steps along the way, as previous?

I will start with the bad news then give you the good news

You can no longer update the Plus II to a P3, you need a P3 to use the touch and other new accessories such as the vortech module. GHL withdrew this option as soon as the P3came down in price.

Now the good news if you want a brand new P3 base unit - we have been offering affordable brand new Plus II to P3 exchange programs which initially meant you had to return your controller to us and we would send you a P3 brand new (at a price) please check out this forum for this post.

For December onl we are offering Plus II owners to get a P3 without having to give up their own controller so they can sell it to offset the cost, contact me at sales@aqua-digital.com for pricing.

In regards to the EVG - if the ballast has 0-10v input you can run two ballasts off of one card so if you have more than two you need another EVG.
