Congrats on the move and getting your tank set up there John. Do they have a club for Utah? If you post a picture thread somewhere I'd love it if you could toss a link in here for us. :)

Congrats John and nice to here your tanks up and running! I was stationed at Hill AFB just north of SLC a bit...BEAUTIFUL country out there!

there is actually two clubs in SLC. i do have pictures, but since its cycling, its just rock work.

Im running a 10gal, with PC lighting. And a homemade stand, that does not hide any of the electrical after all. I dont plan on keeping to much since itll get crowded quick. But the thought was:

Fish - 2 clowns, royal grama, and/or firefish
Coral - (picking it up over the next 2 weeks for $15) green mushrhoom, purple encrusting monti, orange digi, pink birdsnest, and some sort of zoa

i have traveled around the state a little bit, and it is amazing. theres no forests like back east, but the lakes, the deserts, the mountains...its all cool

thanks...and i got lucky with the rockscape.

you can actually use (and legally pick) rock out of the Great salt lake, so i used some of that, some live rock, and i found a box of shells and coral skeletons in salvation army for $15 which made up a majority of the tank

Those are some pretty interesting pieces of rock John! Tank is looking good so far. Thanks for sharing the pics!
