Jumping the gun. 45g LED NPS build

Nice work. That reactor looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to seeing all this come together.

Thanks for the comments guys. I haven't done much lately, just in a holding patten. I scored the most amazing piece of rock yesterday. Its 12" so it fits perfectly into the 2/3 rule. I'm trying to stay with a minimalistic/ Japanese Iwagumi theme. Just got to find 4 more perfect rocks.
I got this pic as well today too. (It not my shop. I could only wish.)

Got the black acrylic siliconed in place on 1 side. Ill let it sit for a couple of days and get some pics. It seems to be going well, but I would not suggest anyone do this in the future. Its a huge PITA, cutting the slot and all. Also, I got the paint and poly for the stand builder. Here are some pics of the stand progress. Its going to be 30X30X42. Again, not my shop.

Any updates?
No real updates. I didnt think anyone was following this. Our neighbors have listed their house F/S so we have been doing a ton of side projects trying to help them get the most $ in this economy.
I kinda goofed and bought to much live rock. I got about 50lbs, but its all in 5 big pieces. I think it will look to crowded in the tank. We will see I guess.
The stand is plastic coated and caulked. The bottom alone will hold about 9 gallons of spills.

Welp its done. These are crappy phone pics. The LEDs screw everything up. Still need to add the other MP10 and the ATO, but its pretty much there. I threw in some krill to start the cycle. I love the way the rock turned out. The way the lights are aimed it only lights up really the pieces of rock. The MP10 on the back wall is hidden from view from the shadow. Its about 22lbs of all Pukani rock. Its dry so the cycle will take an extra long time.

Nice going on your set up. I like the black trim on the stand. It adds a nice touch to it. May I ask what the three ports on the return line are for? It seems one of them is for the bio pellets reactor! Thanks.

One is for bio-pellets, one is for GAC, and one is for whatever. I had the extra gate valve so I just plumbed it in for whatever. I can use it for water changes or acclimation.
(I haven't gotten the GAC going yet. Still cycling.)

Raising a thread from the dead, but wondering about your "floating" canopy. Any pic's of exactly how the pole is mounted to both the stand and canopy?? I've been thinking of doing a very similar build so the wifey will finally allow a rimless. I absolutely cannot hang anything from the ceiling and this is the only way I think I can do a rimless. Great looking set up!

This is attached to the back of the stand and holds the conduit. I drilled a single hole in the canopy side. Then there is a small block with a hole in it for the end. Its pretty simple, sorry I don't have pics of the canopy side. The wiring is run inside the conduit.
