Looking for your best shots for this month's tank of the month! Here are brief rules for entry into the contest:

1) Tank Size: Display size of 30 gallons and smaller.
2) Two pictures max per entry. One full tank shot and another of your choice.
3) Please also include a description of your tank setup (ie equipment, length setup, etc)
4) Past winners (Below) are asked to give someone else a shot unless there is a totally new tank that they would like to enter.
5) Once voting has began, there is to be no 'campaigning' for votes for the nTOTM. This destroys the fun of the contest, and turns it into a 'popularity' contest, which no one wants. Anyone caught campaigning, whether on club forums or other forums, will be removed from voting.

Timeline

May 4nd - Open thread for entries for the March nTOTM
May 15th - Top 5 tanks are posted in a new thread for voting. Voting is 2 weeks.
May 25th - Winner is Decided.
June 1st - They post their winning profile on this date as well as the next entry thread for July nTOTM.

Looking forward to seeing all of your entries this month! Make this a hard choice for me to pick the top five, will ya?

To see past winners see last month's links:

Illuminati in 6 months i could see that up for a nano tank of the month for sure. clayton07 thats a cool setup for a 12 gallon Im surprised that the monti cap does so well with the pc lighting. I like how the goby hangs out in it to cool stuff.

Sweet tank clayton. Your nano is loaded with beautiful specimens. I especially like the zoas and stuf growing on the koralia.

Illuminati - Keep up the good work. Your fish selection is top shelf.

Justinandkrista: Thank you for the comment. That Monti Cap was actually bigger than that. I broke about 1/4 of it off. It grew from a frag that was about 1 '' x 1''. I used to have a big green one in there too that grew like crazy. I dont know...My calcium is always supper high, and I have a long photo period. Thats my only guess as to why they grow so fast in this tank.
Junkitu: I like the zoas on there too. It makes that korallia less ugly. lol There is actually monti growing on the other side and on the back, but you cant see it in these pics.

The tank actually has blinders on it durring the day. Only on the weekends do I take them off early (1pm). The lights come on at 2:30pm and shut off at 11:30pm. Its growth seems to have sped up with use of the KNOP KoralVIT.

Thanks!
Yea...you are kinda stuck inbetween with a 40g. But a 40g is still nano in my book. But hey...that just my humble opinion...

It is a red sea max tho they are a all in one nano tank. I think that rule can be bent at least enought to allow any all in one nano tanks; jbj nanocubes, biocubes, aquapods, and red sea maxes.

Huh?

Edit: I think I know what you are saying, sorry I had a brain fart. Still I've always thought (like many) that 40G was included as a nano. I am surprised that it isn't considered here...

I've pm'd sjfishguy for further inquiry. Maybe I'll post a poll and see what people here think (I am willing to guess someone may have already done this), as I've always felt others thought the same. :D
