>>> June Meeting Announcement <<<

To bad its posted on bareefers.org. I like the site but its down more then its up. Why don't you post it here on RC where its reliable?

We'd been trying to do more club business type stuff on www.bareefers.org since our RC forum tends have a broader focus that is not just BAR specific.

But here ya go... :)

Electrical 101 - June 10th, 2006, 1pm

Bay Area Reefers is proud to host "Electrical 101", a presentation on basic electrical distribution including breaker panels, circuit wiring, GFCI, calculating equipment loads, safety concerns, and more. We will have lecture and hands on demo with sample components in order for you to become familiarized with materials which may be used on a reefer's electrical project.

Robert(Bob) Koch, our guest speaker, has over 50 years of experience in the design, installation, and repair of electrical, electronics, and data/telecom for research laboratories and their specialized equipment. You will have an opportunity to ask Bob electrical related questions specific to your systems.

You don't want to miss the raffle for this meeting! Raffle highlights to include:

- Multi-outlet DJ Power Center - donated by BAR
- Kill-a-Watt Monitor - donated by BAR
- Receptacle Testers - donated by BAR
- Tickets to the Bay Area Coral Farmers Market - donated by BAR
- Awesome Variety of Reef Foods - donated by Reef Nutrition
- Surprise Cool Stuff - donated by Matt Juner and Reefready.net
- and even more :)

This event is open to the general public and will be held at Aquatic Specialties and Pets in Hayward, a state of the art, ethical, aquatic wholesaler. Please follow this link for directions: http://www.bareefers.org/ASAP Directions.aspx .

p.s. Remember to stock up on your IC Gel, which will be on sale at the meeting!

You might try back after waiting a few seconds for the server to be less busy.

Hmm... I'll check in with people about that today, Andy.

I don't see why it why anything like that would have been done. And there was no Board decision to do any such thing that I'm aware of!
