June Meeting

Mojitos
3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
club soda


In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly. Top with ice. Add rum and mix. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer). Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve.

Don't you have to do that dance while you are making them...or is it just that making them makes everybody else dance?
 
I would probably do a little dance while making them. But I would do that anyways any old time that it's food/drink time.
 
Oh good lord...I don't think there's any chance of that NOT happening.

Clothes are permanently planted. hah hah.
 
Looking through tis thread, it looks like everybody is going to be at this one. I still don't have directions to post, though. Can somebody send them to me or put them here real quick?

If you're coming from the west side, up Pellissippi, DO NOT TURN ON BOEING RD!!!!!!!! You will be turned away by Razor wire and machine guns... Continue down to your next right, Lafayette, and follow the mapquest directions from there... :D

North side (Scott and Don) You're best taking Clinton highway down to the Bull Run Steam plant road... Make a left on it... Go down to the Steam plant... Make a right on Melton Lake Drive... Go past the UT Rowing Lake... Make a Left on 95 (Oak Ridge Tunrpike) Make a Right on Georgia (Stop Light #2, Yes they're numbered) Go to the top of Georgia, make a right on W. Outer... Its the second right, Ogontz Lane... Look for the Blinking yellow light... I'm the house all the way down at the end of the road...

Parking is LIMITED!!!!!! If you have 4 wheel drive, feel free to park in the driveway... If not, I can try and pull you out later... lol ;) So if you don't feel like walking down my road, you best come early... lol Whoever wants can park at the top of my drive and block it... I don't care, I'm not going anywhere, and Ashley has to close tonight...

Well I cannot make it today. We have been sick since getting back from vacation and I don't want to contaminate anyone else. The flight home was murder because our ears did not pressurize until that night. Ouch.
If it make you feel any better I had fried donuts at the waterparks.
 
You're going to have to park at the top of the street Melly... It won't be bad getting here, but the walk back up to your car will suck... lol

I didn't get you any Cider... I forgot... :(
 
Hey Randy, thanks for hosting. I know you expedited a lot of work you had probably planned to do more casually. IOU for the phos-stuff, I forgot to give you the money. I forgot to bring my coolers for Matt too...

Welcome to the tree-fort club to all. We dont have officers, by-laws or a club constitution anymore! I guess that deserves a whole new thread so I'll start it :D

I reckon I would have been better off investing that money into a flat screen TV and an extra guitar, so we could team up on Guitar Hero II... lol :D
