June meeting

Hey all.

I wanted to start our summer tank tour and bbq season off this month, but we have BAYMAC the very day we would have a Saturday meeting (Sat, June 13).

So our June meeting will be at the usual time and place - the second Friday (June 12) at Union Hotel on Mission Blvd in Santa Rosa, 7pm.

There will be a raffle at the meeting. I'm working on lining up some very nice pieces and will be donating something tasty myself, maybe an ORA Roscoe's Blue Tip acro.

You can donate to to the raffle too!

There will be a frag swap also if people are interested.

Anyone that has won a rare in the raffle and it has grown out enough to frag,please contact Ken so he can get it in the Raffle.

Hey guys. Sorry, I'm new to the boards... is this a frag swap? And can I take part in it or do I need to be a member? If so, how much does membership cost?

I am Ken, current president of the club. There is no cost to join our club. Just come to the meetings, generally the second Friday of the month, location announced here on this forum.

We do both a frag swap and a raffle at the meeting. The frag swap costs a frag to enter. The general guideline is don't bring anything you wouldn't want to take home. Most people have the very common stuff and if they don't other members will usually give you some.

The raffle is $5 per ticket, 5 tickets for $20. If you win a particularly nice piece, we ask that you donate a frag of it back to the club raffle after you've grown it out some.

Can it be any frag or only sps? I have a few neon green hairy shrooms I can frag, but I'm just getting back into the hobby so I don't really have anything I can give at the door

My guess is most people here who want shrooms have them. But come to the meeting and I'll give you a bomb frag of my orange digitata for free.
