Junior's Reef

thanks!

thanks!

what a great day it's been.
I missed the Bills game but the weather was so nice I spent it outdoors with my daughter. Junior's no slouch but those trout at Powder Mills Park are truly BIG fish!

Suh-weet as usual, my friend!

I get a lot of sunlight after 2 PM on the left-hand side of the school aquarium. It makes a noticeable difference in the growth rate of the corals located there.

Good stuff!

But this is one of my favorites....

now folks... check this out:

My Mom stopped by today. Not really too unusual... but TODAY.. after watching my Emperor Angelfish eat sveral large frozen broccoli florets and huge hunks of frozen fish food (Pro Salt 'Marine Supreme') she asked if the big fish would eat dog food. At first, I laughed. Then I thought... why not?

As it turns out, Junior loves Iams dog food!

Sure, sure...you won't think it's so funny when Junior starts barking. Or worse yet, chasing cars.

too funny!

too funny!

it's a good thing fish can't snatch steaks from kitchen counters :fun4:

I really don't know the nutritional values of feeding my reef aquarium dog food. I suspect there are high amounts of PO4 in any dry dog food.

All the fishes in my aquarium go after it and the anemone eats it too.

You're gonna have a nutrient explosion in that tank....
:lolspin:

Wait, see if he likes waffles..... :D
