Where did you get the new Onyx Percula?

My Rod's Onyx pair are 10 years old now. I'd buy more from Rod in a heart beat, but I don't think he's raising the fry anymore.

I got my new onyx with the help of a LFS in Rochester called Caribbean Forest. They knew what I was looking for and helped me out.
CF also got some lightning clowns in. All extremely difficult to find clownfish!
I saw lots of great designer clowns at another Rochester LFS called Marine Oasis yesterday.
I'm sure other shops in the area have a fantastic selection as well.
If one ever wanted to set up a clownfish display there's never been a better time!

Thanks. I had 3 onyx for two weeks. The old female got stressed to the point of no return while chasing the new one from the anemone.
Now the male is growing larger and has definitely turned into a female.

How's the YT trio?

How's the YT trio?

Anything of note to report on the trio of yellow tangs? Are they (more or less) getting along with one another? Interacting much with the Acanthurids?

I'm seriously considering a trio like this as I make my plans to restock. I've got plenty of swimming area and hidey-holes. My only hesitation is with my Tennenti tang.

That said, adding three small YT's may help spread any aggression he dishes out.

I'd love to hear how things are going.

YTs are doing great.
Two appear to have formed a bond. The third wheel grew to be a runt and (although the same foods are offered to all my fishes) it suffers some type of hille.
All YTs are bullied by my powder blue. Make that ALL my fishes are bullied by powder blue.
The YTs are a great addition and I definitely would recommend you do it, Scott.
