You know? It's funny. I've seen some people call this one a forest fire, but I've also seen it called a rainbow digi. That's what I bought it as if I'm remembering right. I also have a forest fire, and that one is a dark green base, with dark green tips, and orange pylops. This one has blue base, orange pylops and yellow-green tips. It's my nicest digi by far, I've always struggled to get good green out of my forest fire.

Thank you!!! I've been following your build thread for a little while now! You have a very nice tank,.. too bad about what Photobucket did to us all :( I look forward to seeing it!

I had a little hiccup lately, but overall I am getting great growth! Here is an FTS. The birdsnest corals are starting to take over a bit:

Yeah I have seen them called rainbow and forest fire. You are correct forest fire usually as green base but over here the blue based one is called forest fire as we don't see the green base one much either way that's one nice montipora

Yeah def not a forest fire, sounds like a cool digi wish we could get more variaty up here. The forest fire I have is white base lime green tips and orange polyps.
And wow that RR Pink Floyd looks amazing, I'm more a milli guy but that picture made me look up as see what they were worth from the place I ship in from.

That's exactly what makes sps keeping so alluring. Not to mention how a coral like the lady in pink can look so different in different tank conditions..
And then other corals like the Pink Floyd have one true coloration when looking their best..

For sure! Not to mention the constant challenge! It seems like keeping these tanks at their peak should be allot easier than it is.

I've been doing this for 25 years and I still regularly learn new things.

Nice coral. Echoes of a piece I used to have. Going to have to run like hell to the LFS tomorrow, if I have the time and the money. Though I'm on the thin ice with the ex these days after putting a hole in the wall for yet another tank. Hee hee.

With the EX? Is that an issue?
I say do it!!! There is always time for more coral! I ordered a Kalk reactor and 4 replacement T5 bulbs this week :D
(My wife see's the boxes but so far hasn't had any questions)

This is fun! Does't fit in the SPS forum but I'm sure some of you will enjoy it.

This was an 8 hour time lapse of a small Zoa colony, it amazes me that they are always up to stuff. They close, open get smaller, get bigger etc. Pics were 1 per min.
