Been wanting one for awhile, but they only recent came into the local place where I do 99% of my business.....What gives the sex away, the spotting/striping? I have this in a book, but haven't got around to it yet!

I believe this is the one Genicanthus (that shows up in the hobby anyway) in which males and females look identical.

I dug my book out, it says the male has a blue dot under their dorsal fins where females do not. Reckon I might need to get me a male and see what happens!

Cool, I like reef safe butterflies and angels! She ate some arctic pods and a good bit of Rod's tonight!

It's amazing how quickly the regulars accept a new fish when it's not their species!

Great fish. I've had mine a little over a year. Never touched any coral, not aggressive to other fish and eats any food I put in the tank.

Your lamarck is beautiful! They seem to be a rather underrated fish, but they look amazing under actinics. I hope your female does well for you.

From what I understand, it seems that male lamarcks tend to have streamers on their tales, but I'm not sure if this is a fact.

Well, one day old and it's like she's bee in there forever. Swimming around the tangs, rabbit, and butterflies that are markedly bigger without a care in the world. Actively eating pellet, frozen and flake.
