. Was bored one day so figured I'd throw up some pics here . And thanks, whoever you are lol.I make RO/DI water in my basement where I store it in a 50g container. NSW is also mixed down there in a 33g brute. When I do water changes (every two weeks) I pump the NSW from the basement up to the tank. I unroll a really long hose to do this
. When the water change is done I will also fill a couple of 5g buckets with RO/DI that I use for ATO and keep them on the main floor near the tank. My ATO reservoir sits under the tank and holds about 8g which typically lasts me 3-4 days. When the ATO reservoir runs low I refill it with water from one of the 5g pales mentioned previously.

Looking at those videos I thought this was like a 300-500 gallon reef. Your aquascape is awesome. Colors are fantastic. Beautiful display.

Ya, that's Burc's favourite line when he substitutes something you ordered for something else LOL. In his defense I do have "freebies" from him that look awesome. No, the wolverine is from Burc as well. This is why I don't generally put names on pics that I post.. I know some people are sensitive about coral common/designer names and lineages etc. I can't guarantee the names or lineages on any if my corals. I just like how they look
I wish that we could get RR stuff out this way but I don't think we can. At least I have no idea how. The best we can do is get RR stuff from hobbyists that acquired RR stuff.

thanks for your answer, I've got one wolverine from burc too...
and a couple of RR frags coming in a week or two (one guy here knows Jay well and is able to get some nice frags shipped over here !)

Man, it's been two years since my last tank and the sps world has gone pretty nutso with all the designer names.. I guess it's been going in longer than that..
In the end, I think if they look fantastic, I'm not very concerned about what their names are..

I get my frags from all over. Local reefers, online, local retail. We don't get a lot of "designer"/name brand corals out this way though. Can't even get ORA stuff easily and that stuff has been around for ages. Now there's Reef Raft stuff that looks insane and priced accordingly :lol:
There are ways to circumvent the CITIES that is actually fairly legal. I won't get into the details
I saw 1" frags of RR sell for $300 and up. I think last year they were selling frags of Wolverine for something like $350 or $400. Supply and demand I guess. I prefer knock offs of corals that look similar myselfs so I'll hunt for "Pink limonad", "Red Planut", "Oregin Tort", "Strawberry Shurtcake" and "Red Dragun" etc..
All the pics in post #127 are montis but I'm assuming you mean the reverse sunset/chilli pepper/seasons greetings monti (green base-red polyps). I have that one about 5 inches from the water surface. It is on my highest rock. As a result it gets high light and gets moderate flow. I have had it lower tho and still did fine.
Oh, you do mean the last monti. That one was sold to me as a montipora spongodes. It's not a cap. It encrusts and branches out. I have it in the middle of my tank and moderate flow.
