just bought a sony a200 pics inside

Well as the title states I just purchased a sony A200 this is my first dslr and I am already in love with it. took a few pics last night nothing great as I am still learning but critiques are def welcome.

I have the A700 and love it. Just wait until you start using it out of Auto mode and using a tripod. You will notice a big jump in picture quality.
 
I just found a tripod that was for my old camcorder it def helps however like you said i am mostly using the macro presets and the kit lens. is there any specific lens you would reccomend Tremelle that is not going to break the bank? also not just for macro but a good lens for long distance shots?
 
Oh and is it that noticable that these were taken by me just holding the camera? i was pretty proud of myself for it being the first time to ever use a dslr.
 
Once you get the tripod working well, then you can turn the ISO value down, which will help with the grain in the photo. Other tips: shut the power heads off, dont feed right before photos, wear dark clothing to avoid reflections, turn off room lights and sources of glare, use a 3 sec timer/remote if possible to remove camera shake, take pictures from the top down using a photobox.

thank you scythanith. i started to mess with the iso setting and the tripod last night i guess it's going to take some time though.
