Just curious - anyone else's skimmer going nuts?

My skimmer is acting up and over working. Wondering if the air quality would have anything to do with it. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, unfortunately I've had my skimmer off for 2 weeks now so I can't help you out right now.

Not that I am aware of. Was just curious.

I would think with the amount of air introduced to water via a skimmer that poor air quality would absolutely have an effect on the tank. Who knows about the actual evidence but it seems pretty common knowledge that people turn skimmers off when painting in a home, spraying something etc...
