Just finished installing my streams!!

I just finished setting up my two 6100 streams. I have a 280gal with Euro-bracing all the way around, I ordered the kit but found it kind of flimsy so I headed to Lowest to see if I could DIE something that would work better in my situation. I found a tube of "marine goop" in the adhesive section. I bought a couple of clamps to hold the brackets in place while drying. An hour later they were ready to add the streams and they are solid as a rock. I fired one of the pumps up and it seemed to work decent, my tank is 6' I hope the two 6100's will be enough, I have yet to connect the multi controller, so maybe it has a flow adjustment to make the flow a little stronger, I did look at the small adjustment on the power supply but didn't notice a difference.

Just wanted to pass along a method of mounting the streams.

scorcho,
Do you have any pictures? What did you mount them to, the euro-brace or the side wall of the tank?

No pics yet but I will snap a few for you. I actually sealed them under the eurobracing amd to the tank wall. It works great for me although the goop doesn't look too good mashed up against the glass, but when the tank is filled with rocks etc they will be hidden.

I have an Eurobrace also in my starphire 180, I should be getting the TUNZE 6100 next week, I sure would love to see pictures myself.

You will need the 3000.26 extension brackets. I have them in stock. With glass it is your only option. The kit will give you two possibilities. Make an L bracket that goes under the brace or glue the rail to the tank with some included fiberglass plates. You will use aquarium silicon to do this.
