just got a Maroon Clown

This is my 1st Clown fish. She is a 4 inch or so. The guy who owned her
said that she hosted a rock anemone. I've never owned a Anemone but
am thinking about getting one for her. She seems a little lonely now. I have
a 240g tank. Could I get a bubble tip Nem for her?

you sure can. Maroons are known for being aggressive so make sure you dont get a baby clone or something so small your fish will destroy it.

yeah i would get atleast one that is double the size of your fish. atleast 8 to 10 inches or else your maroon will love the nem to death.

Just make sure you don't add another Maroon to the tank unless a) its very small and b) you make sure it has a place to get away from the bigger one. They (maroons) are usually very, very hostile towards other maroons. Check out Joyce Wilkersons book "Clownfish" - it lists which anemones go with what species.

In my experience, A maroon will host pretty much anything. Other clowns are more selective.
