Yep, thats about how it goes.......10K great growth, yellow color nobody likes......20K PAR takes a dump, depending on bulb, but looks good.
I find 14K is a good mix of performance and looks.
I have 14K Phoenix on mine and just switched from 14K Ushio. In addition I have 2-96PC Actinics, which add to the blue making it look like a 20K tank.......in color with 14K performance.
