It looks like a red crab and he's literally right in the middle of it

Whatever he is, he was spared. I think he may be injured though when I put him in the tank he kind of drug one pincher.

He looked like one of the two red ones that are ok, or so I think.

Awww, what a darling little acro crab.

Beneficial to the coral and the tank. It will perform housekeeping and indirect feeding of the coral it lives in, very cool added bonus. Best hitchhiker I usually get are Stomatellas.

Way too many stomatellas.

That's a relief. I haven't seen him since I put him in the tank but hopefully he makes it. I'm not sure if they're just awkward when they are moving distances but he kind of drug his pincher and went under the rocks. Maybe I'll scoot the birds nest closer to the rock so he goes back in it.

I can definitely see why people think corals are almost more addicting than the fish. I got a toadstool, birds next, and fire n' ice polyp; they're just fascinating. Then my lights started going into night mode and they got even more amazing! The polyps' orange frills turned florescent orange and the white tips of the birds next had a nice faint glow too.

Remember, Birds Nest. Grammar and spelling are out of control world wide. Please help.

Auto-correct can drive me nuts!!! But, you ended up with all calm in the old Bird's Next Corral :)

It is kind of humorous lol, I hadn't even noticed the "corral part". I was in the middle of dipping corals, acclimating fish/snails/crabs and didn't even really look at what my phone was changing it to.

-Until next time, on the "Old Bird's Next Corral"

So here's a shot of "ol'bird next". Is there any signs I should be looking for to make sure it's doing ok? It kind of opened...? little bumps are all over it now that kind of give that impression. It does seem somewhat bleached but that's to be expected, yes?

My other two corals seem to be adjusting, opening up even more, etc. it's just not as obvious with the bird nest.
