Ive tried turning the screw all the way in and out and still no go..is this normal?....i realy wanna get this thing going for my tank , and id hate for this to be a wast of my money ( it took a lot of yards to mow to get that skimmer ) =)
anyway thanks for u help and time,

It is brand new? It takes time for a skimmer to start working, open the screw 3-4 turns position it so the wavy line is about 1/4" above the water and wait. It will need a couple days to break in.

ok thanks....is the blue screw..wiat i thought the blue screw was for the air..? Im letting it sit on the bottum of my tank so just add water so the water sits 1/4" above the line?
srry for the confusion im kinda new with the whole skimmer thing,

It is submerged too deep and this will choke the air inlet. The US pump is a bit stronger than the German one so it is best to run the water level a bit below the line. The screw sets the air flow, 3-4 turns is generally where it should be set.

ok thanks..so make the water level under the line?
When the skimmer "brakes in " the bubbles can make it all the way up to the top? into the collection cup..

You may have to make some adjustments but in very small increments. Is the tank stocked at all? You usually turn the screw 1/4 turn open or close per day and wait to see the result when making any adjustments.

ok thanks..but yes it is lightly stocked
