Just Got These From Divers Den

The last one is pretty cool and im not really an anemone fan. Can you put RBTA's together? Will they sting each other?

You can mix different color morphs of the same species without issue.

To the OP,

Do you still have that Haddoni in your tank?

What about the other BTAs that you have mentioned in other threads, still have those?

Grr your the one... Lol I was going to get the last one that you posted. Settled for this one though.

I still have the BTA but the Haddoni I took out and gave it a friend. It ate one of my clownfish that was hosting it so I decided to give it away

Don't get them out of your tank too quickly this time. Good luck.

I wont but If I see that their not gonna make it will take them out cause Im not gonna risk my other livestock.

But if something happens I will put them in a small QT.

:( Sorry.... I saw them I quickly purchased them cause I knew they weren't gonna last cause I've been waiting a long time for some GBTA like those

I have had both these type of anemone next to each other and they coexist . However, I have observed that when clowns start hosting in them they start to compete in some form. As soon as the clown hosted in the green one the green one would try to move away from the red and red did the same.

Eventually after 6 months I had to sell the green one as it kept moving all the time.

Keep it away from sps and you should be good.

Not saying impossible, but I'd be surprised if nems did anything competing for clown hosts.
My last all BTA tank had 5 BTAs, some went for more light, one went right for heavy flow blast from PH, some stayed right where I put them in center.
They just seemed to go where they want w/out ryhme or reason.

Im going home in 10 minutes. Most likely the box would be there waiting for me if not I will have to call UPS to have them come again since it's early.

Sorry guys for the delay. But When I got home there was no box or a UPS delivery notification so I called Liveaquaria to see what had happen and they told the anemones were gonna be shipped today because they had a misunderstanding with my order and they did not get to ship it on tuesday. Sorry but you guys are gonna have to wait till tomorrow. =[

the purple tip ones will most likely have a red foot on them as I have seen alot of these coming around lately good luck with them and remember to watch those powerheads.

I got mine today. Acclimated for about 3 hours then put it in the tank with a small bucket over it so it could try to settle in. Came home this evening and found that my 2, 2 1/2 year old mated bicinctus pair had moved the bucket just enough so they could squeeze in there.... I need to figure out a way to keep them out of it for a few days while the anemone needs to do what it needs to do to be happy. I did feed it and it took the food with no effort.
