Just Got These From Divers Den

Wouldn't it make more sense to wait for the box than for the box to wait for you?
If I order livestock online, I would arrange it so that I can stay home in the morning and wait for the truck. Maybe I'm just crazy.

NOPE, in my case the box has to wait for me. I have more important things to do than to be sitting at home waiting for a box. Thats just me, plus the box has Styrofoam so its insulated staying 30 minutes outside while I get home wont do anything to it. I wanted once and all I got was bleached anemones from Reefhotspot so this time they will wait for me.

Not sure where you live, but most of the US is pretty cold right now, Styrofoam can only do so much. And just because you got bleached anemones from another vendors shouldn't mean that this new shipment should have to wait outside.

Could have at least had it delivered to a FedEx drop off place, so it would at least be inside.

i have never stayed home to wait for a box and they are allways fine. its not that big of a deal IMO

Los Angeles is usually in the 60's and 70's during this time of year, so for me personally, I don't wait around for the box. But I totally agree w/Todd for the rest of the colder states.

I waited around for mine this time. It's been in the 30's here. But for the last 2-3 packages i've gotten from orders of fish or coral, fedex just slides them on my porch without knocking or ringing the doorbell. It does kinda bother me that liveaquaria doesn't require a signature for delivery. But they do keep there guarantee none the less. And the water was in the mid 60's when I got them out. So make sure you float them b4 acclimating and putting into your tank.

You can also have them hold at the FedEx center and you can pick them up. Much quicker that way and the animal do not have to ride around all day in a car. It is usually at the center by 9 in AM, and you can pick it up then, or over lunch. IMO, this is the best way rather than wait for them at home or at the office. you can track them online and go pick it up on arrival, ASAP.

Well guys it turn out that I was home when the FedEx guy arrived. Where I live its cold but not lower than 65 but that time so I don't think that would be an issue and thats now that its cold.

Well now for the update. The anemones arrived in great shape. They were packed in 8 bag (each anemone) with a large quantity of water. One of the green ones had its mouth a open but as soon as I put it in the tank after acclimated it, the mouth closed up and it was tight.

Here are some pictures (I'll post pictures of them in the tank later, when they decide to come from behind the rocks because after a couple of minutes of being in the tank they moved to the back of the rocks.
