Just moved to Niceville.

I also bought a bag of the Tisbe Pods that I poured into my refugium. From what I read in about 8 days should have pods all over my tank. Got a 2 pound nice piece LR I put in the display to further seed the tank. So far so good!

Just ordered two Jebao wp40's and Hanna checkers for phosphate, calcium, and alkalinity from amazon, will be here Friday! Also ATI blue plus and true actinic T5 bulbs to supplement the Kessil and give me the dawn/dusk effect with out a controller.

My plan is an SPS dominate system with LPS at the sand bed. I'll have T5s on for 12 hours this should also give me more fluorescence of the corals as it is well documented the ATIs have great color. The WP40 should be all the flow I'll ever need, really get flow down into and around these rocks keeping detritus suspended. With the Hanna checkers allow me to keep up with the corals needs and keep phosphates in check. I've never used the Hanna testers but read great reviews. The key to them is following the instructions well.

I'm thinking by middle of April my system will stable enough to start adding some corals.

Just added two Jebao WP-40's. Please tell me what you think of the flow. So far I like it. The wave is much more than superficial, I've got a good vortex in the corners that gets anything that was sitting there into the water column so that it is filtered out. Yea!

Just tested cal, ALK and phosphate with my new Hanna checkers and here are the results:
Cal: 500
ALK: 10.1
Phosphate 0.02

These seem good! I think I can start adding coral!

The Pukani don't seem to be leaching phosphate as bad as I though it would. The GFO and vinegar dosing seems to be paying off.

Little bit of an update. Things are looking good and holding steady. I've got a very good population of copepods (Tisbe pods from a bag, I recommend this stuff) still waiting to see some amphipod, I thought I saw one in my fuge the other day but can't be sure. Cheato is growing very well. My one head Duncan coral is doing well also, great polyp extension and getting some green color. Looks as though I may be getting another head already. My pink birds nest suffered some necrosis die back but seem to be stable at the moment. I am hoping it will begin to grow back. Fish are well and eating pellets, mysis and some reef flake.

Now that things seem stable I think I am going to start adding more fish and corals this weekend.

I would like to find a RBTA and some Acan Lords.

I'm not sure exactly what fish I want, maybe a sailfin tang, lawnmower blenny, or foxface. I like wrasses but not sure what to look for, need to do more research.
