Just need a little help with VHO's

What would be more light for a tank? 3x75 watt vhoss or 4x24 watt t5's? I am setting up a new tank and I already have a vho retrofit kit but I am thinking about using T5's. What do you guys think? Thanks.

I like VHO's for their color. T5's will put out more light as long as you use good reflectors. The advantage of t5's are their size and the ability to make great reflectors that are small. Since you already have the VHO kit, I would stick with that and if you ever wanted more light add a MH.

What do you mean vho are pink? You can get vho lamps with different color ratings.
