Just one (Acan macro)

Took a few snapshots last night and this one was the most presentable;

ISO 200, f/11, 1/50 (handheld)
Nikon 105mm f/2.8D Macro

Tank lights only, light cropping (was shot at 1:1) and white balance adjustment. Still appears a bit blue to my eye but I don't want to push it.

Need to get back in practice m'thinks

What I like,

Nice acan. I like the color, but you'd know the color better than me.

What I didn't, I don't know how you did the crop, but if you add a diagonal line from the upper left to the bottom right, the bottom looks in focus and the upper out. Now, I understand it was handheld, which makes it pretty good, but IMO you needed the upper part of the coral in focus. Can I see it before it's cropped???

Very nice pic, acans never cease to amaze me how nice they come out in pics. You can make every color stand out on an acan.

I like the shot and the composition but personally would like to see that top right polyp also in focus, this to me would have made the shot. Sure you wouldn't get it without a tripod but these are the sacrifices one must make to get the perfect shot

I think the color and lighting is perfect!
