Just one question, is this ich?

I did TTM on all my fish 3 month ago, and had my main no-fish did whole time. But monitoring my quarantine tank the last couple weeks found this spots on my powder blue tang left fin. And this tang had much bigger spots 2-3mm in size couple days ago. Now they are gone.
I dipped him in fresh water for 5 minutes, no help.
My concern is, is this Ich?
BTW, those 2 spots on fun is 4 days old

Hard to tell from the camera angle. It looks like it could be ich. Keep an eye on it spreading on the body and fins. If so then yes it would be ich. Tangs are very prone to ich.

Does this mean that the DT is still fishless and the tang is in the QT?

If the QT is absolutely free of Ick, then I doubt it is Ick. If TTM was done properly, Ick s/b gone

I was looking at my tank last night, and would have swore to it that my purple tang had ick. I was devastated. Turns out it was just sand as today, he was beautiful as ever

yes, this fish is from quarantine tank, 70 days later. Personally im leaning more towards not being ich, due to the fact that this same tang had way larger spots by her mouth 3-4 days ago. I heard people using the word "sesame" seed size.
but i still could be wrong, and dont want to have any chance of ich coming back to the main tank.

That isn't Ich. It's kind of hard to tell but those look kind of like gas bubbles correct? The other thing it could be is Nodule Disease (Lymphocystis)

One thing I know is that she being scratching that area on rocks like I seeing that do that when they did have ick. But also at same time I have hippo tang in same tank and he is fine. No spots. BTW this is 5 tangs in 75 gallon quarantine tank.

Doesn't look like Ick to me....does the fish eat and swim normal?
Ick usually starts in the gills and stops the fish from eating and it gas a hard time breathing.
It then spreads to the body....

my vote is for Lymphocystis. Ich will look almost like sugar grains on the fish. Those look too lumpy to me.

WOW, so after looking up Lymphocystis on google pictures. and some of those pictures almost look identical to the other patches i have seeing on the tang. Ill give it a month and see if its going to go away, them maybe ill release all my fish back into the main tank.

Ich will cover the body.Lymphocyistis is on the fins.It is a viral infection.The fish will have to recover on its own.
