Just started dripping kalk

Ok so I just started dripping kalk. One night so far and it clogged up and only half the gallon dripped. I did let it settle for 2 hrs before using. I have had good growth but looking for more of course. I drip 1 teaspoon to a gallon at night. What can I expect and how long before I notice a difference? What are some problems I should watch for?

I just checked the parameters ALK 11, PH 8.3. Should I drip the other half tonight or will it put these out of site.

What is your calcium at?

Hey Nate, ALK is 11 dkH and calcium is 440 mg/L. Iwas thinking today if the drip at night would compinsate for drop in PH durning that time and would be the same today. Or would this drive it all up.

I think it would help with the PH and it will help keep the alk and calcium levels where they are. I doubt it will drive them much higher but it may. I wouldn’t worry too much about that though. I would just use it and keep an eye on things. Kalk is really good stuff maybe just back off on the two part a little…

Forgot to mention i use a lite on my fuge at night. One of those 100 watt screw in Fluorescent lights.
