Well, a lot of people ask ?'s like will my clown host in this or what will clowns host in or is this anem okay...well, I'd like this thread to put to rest those who are unassured of how clowns will take to things.

To start it off, here is my craziest hosting experiece(bear in mind, pics were taken over a year ago and these clowns have found a new home where they are being bred):

Dunno how "crazy" it is but our Ocellaris pair host some Anthelia.

Before that they hosted a green spaghetti (Sinularia) leather, but they were lovin' it to death so we moved it out of their territory.

I have pics on another comp with clowns hosting all sorts of LPS, frogspawns, hammers, torches, and a longtentacle plate coral.
Cheers
nice pics everyone btw :D

I believe your larger clown is a Percula.

i would agree with aquareeferman that black on the clown usually isnt there on an Ocellaris. I dont have anyhosting stories because i just got my clowns but i will post if they do!

no that is a ocellaris they often get that coloration when mature.

they hosted my orange cap for 3 months even though there was a perfectly good RBTA on the other side of the tank... they have found the RBTA now.

My clown hosted jeopardy to fill in for an upperlip incident with a razor. Unfortunately, the high earning for contestants forced the producers to remove him from the show ntil the orginal host returned.

Really? We bought these as tiny babies 3 years ago and they were identical then. The female has gotten darker as she's gotten older but the male hasn't. Also she isn't quite as dark as she looks in that picture, it's partly the angle at which she was swimming.

i would say there both occ Sonja...my friend has a pair and his female darkened a lot when she started hosting. sorry i dont have any wierd hosting pics, mine have always hosted every kind of anemone theyve been with.

Mine hosted a big patch of Algae till it died off (the algae not the fish). So I got him an anemone and I'm waiting for them to find each other
