If I were to lose power, about how long do I have on a 60 gallon tank before I need to start worrying about fish & coral loss?

I think Ecotech's battery backup advertises that it roughly takes 4 hours before loss of life in the tank.

Every tank is different. Every animal is different. When our power goes out, and it does regularly with SW Florida thunder storms, I fire up the generator at 1 to 2 hours.

In summer, with no ac, and room warming, 4 hours; submerging ziplocs of freshwater ice, plus running a Plax bubbler (Amazon) on battery will give you more time.
In winter, with room temperature dropping, 8 hours or more. I managed 8 days but it wasn't easy, and did lose some critters, plus worms.

Awesome. I've got a battery powered air pump just in case. I bought it back YEARS ago for my freshwater tank but never had to use it. Better safe than sorry

If you are handy sort of fellow, you can look up a couple guides that use 12v car batteries to power all the equipment by inverting them to AC. If you have a stash of them, you can swap them out as they die and then recharge them once the power comes back on.

Or you can buy a generator.
