seeing as how I live near the beach, would I be able to put water from the ocean into my tank when it comes to water changes and initial setup?

I would imagine that some things would have to be adjusted but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Just thought I'd ask.

most of the water that you can get off the coast is going to be contaminated. in truth you would really have to go out about 100-150 meters off the coast.
