Juvenile angel won't gain any weight- very thin

what do you mean some interest on pellets and nothing special ?

No interest means not eating. If I crush them up, mix in with other foods I think he'll nip at a few small bits mixed in.

Thin and stomach bulging would lead me to believe it is a stomach and/or parasite problem. I'd retreat with Prazipro. If he was thin and sunken stomach I would tend to believe it is a feeding issue.

Fish has always had a pinch in his abdomen since I've had him (2 weeks), the thin/wasting away part is new.

Stomach is located higher than the abdomen, no? Basically right above the pectoral fin has generally been pinched but above that is good and full (not bulging per say).

I might have the organs/locations mixed up.

Have you had any luck supplementing food with minced and/or juiced garlic? I have a finicky Flame that gobbled up food that was soaked in garlic (even gobbling up the garlic itself), and, is now happily eating mysis, cyclopeeze, thera-a, and nutramar ova.

I also supplement/soak food in Selcon every 4-5 days.

That's really too bad. I know what it feels like. I lost a juvenile Achilles Tang in less than 24hrs and it was from DD as well. My heart just sank. I ordered another about a week later from LA and he came through like a champ. Sounds like you tried everything you could. Will LiveAquaria be able to help you since it was still covered under their 2 week policy? I hope everything turns out well.

I hope so, was 2days over the 2 week mark, they said they would cover it. Need to send in the body... How morbid this all is.

Copps posted once don't worry about the things one can't control, I'm just wondering how we learn what all those things we can control are.

They've never asked me to send in a body of a lost fish. That's a little surprising to me. Sorry to hear aobut your loss.

Probably b/c it was over the 2 weeks mark. I think its very generous of them.

Sorry for the loss. Losing a fish is always heart breaking to me.
