Juvenile Angels

Hello Blue Zoo

Do you plan on adding any more Juvenile Angels to the CC in the near future?

I know that you mentioned adding a Juvenile Regal a few days ago, but I have not seen it yet.
Also, do you have any other Juvenile angels?

Any juveniles of the following:

Chaetodontoplus meredithi
Chaetodontoplus caeruleopunctatus
Chaetodontoplus duboulayi

or just any species.

Thanks

~Michael

No problem Michael. Of course we will have to wait for another Australia shipment for two of those, it won't be hard to pull once it lands. The blue spot we just sold. lol it was a nice little juvi. I don't think there are any others in QT waiting to be put on CC. I know the regal is still there. They might be waiting to confirm it is eating before posting. Stay tuned. :)

Yes, I can confirm that the Blue Spot (Chaetodontoplus caeruleopunctatu) is a beauty.

The regal sold guys. It actually got sold before it ever got listed. Ironically, it was a guy who saw the original post about it here and called in to buy it lol.

Sorry about that. :(

That blue spot was sold but then the customer canceled the order for some reason. It is a really nice fish that we had been holding for the guy for quite a while. Just so you know. :)

Do you have any more Little Regal Angels?

Another Question. How do most of the regal angels that you bring in do? I would love to get a red sea specimen, but I do not believe that they are being collected at the moment. I have noticed that in the last few weeks you have had a few RS Regals in stock. Are these actually collected from the RS, or are they just Yellow Bellied Specimens?

Do you get all of your fish feeding before they are offered for sale? Not just the ones from the WYSIWYG section/

Thanks, oh, and sorry for all the posts and questions

~Michale

Never apologize for questions man. It is way better to ask and be informed than to jump into something not knowing.

Almost all of the regal angels come to us from Solomon. Anybody who knows will tell you that Solomon collected fish are some of the healthiest out there. They are all net caught and because the station is owned by an American, many western practices of pathogen control are in place. We literally never have a problem with these fish. The last couple that were sold we collected in Marshall. Again, the fish collected there are some of the best in the industry in regards to overall health. We stay away from Indo collected regals entirely.

There have been some red sea collected regals trickling in. In fact, there was supposed to be a shipment with ten or so next week but it got canceled.

We find it is not hard to get Solomon or Marshall collected regals to eat and we really try to make sure they are eating before they ship. It is one prerequisite for the fish coming out of QT and being offered for sale. Some that are cool looking or unusual go onto CC but most are sold via the regular skew.

Anymore questions, please ask. Thanks.

Hey guys. Just to let you know, we are releasing a very small multi bar angel at about 1" and we are releasing a juvi personifer at about 1.5". I though of you guys here first. Call the shop and order them before they get added to inventory.

Thanks for the question. That little guy is really fat for being that small. We usually do not see these tiny angels in such good condition. It is eating live baby brine and seems to pick at the ogo that is in the cube with it. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick response,

I picked up the small Mutibarred Angelfish from you Monday, nice looking fish. I just hope he will start eating soon, he picks at the live rock very well but has not eaten anything else and I have tried Artic Pods, Brine Shrimp, Mysis and flake. It has only been a couple of days so we will see.

Thank you

Try picking up some live baby brine. I think that live adult brine might be too big for it. It has a really small mouth. :)

Good luck with it. Please keep us posted on your success.
