Juvi Blueline Angelfish

Another one? :) I know they're very difficult to resist. While you're at RHS can you check on my Multi pair? Better yet, how about a pic or two?

Thanks!

Yeah I know, but Max matched the price of LA's sale price and I was told very colorful and small. Will go into my smaller tank until new one is built.

When I spoke to Max today he said he had yours in Quarantine still so I will check them out if not sent yet.

Is it bad that I'm already wishing I had ordered more then 1? These little guys are awesome. I want to fish mine out and hug him. :)

Too bad I don't have room. I think you may be the only one with 4 juvies in a tank...and I thought a trio is awesome.

I think he said they came in last Wednesday so it may take some time. Can you imagine getting a eating pair? :)

Here's some photos of my new duo.. including some of the "white stuff" near the ones gills. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated!

Welcome to the tetra blueline club.
You're next flameangel.

I have pulled the trigger on one more from Max, he has it in quarantine and I should pick up this Sunday. I just wish my adult Blueline would pay some attention to the little ones.:hammer:[/QUOTE]

Thanks euod,
How are yours doing?

Interesting...Thanks.

How would it work if I added the second blueline well after the 1st is already in the main tank?

I would like to get another but my current one is in QT at full strenght copper. DOn't think its a good idea to add a new fish right to full strenght....What do you think gents?

Kevin,

Thanks for the video. What size tank are they in? Also, what are the sizes of the 3?

David,

They're in a 120g sump that I purchased in anticipation of a tank upgrade but since that's not going to happen this year I'm using it as a tank for now.

The sizes are 1 7/8", 2 1/4" & 2 3/4" and the smallest was added last.

Just placed an order with LA, and should be receiving my Blueline on Friday.
On sale for 149.99 - Can't beat it.

I had the same worries about adding the 2nd Juvi, they went at it for a couple of days and then it was like a light switch was flipped and they were fine.

Good Luck

I just got a call from RHS that the pair are ready to ship and I arranged for next Tuesday delivery.h

Kevin,

I envy your collection and the Venustus Angels aren't bad either. I love those, had one for about a year and then he passed during my move.

Keep collecting those awesome fish!

Thanks Brian. I'm very happy with the recent additions (especially with the pairs and trios) but space is limited going forward. The Multi will most likely be the last pair I'm adding unless I can find a 125-180g (6') established reef setup for a bargain.

Anybody has any problems with there blueline nipping sps? I've mine for 5 weeks now, never saw it eating any prepared food. Nip on rocks and sps only. Just caught her out. She was about 3''

All 3 of mine are nipping on LRs but only see the smallest one (1 7/8") nipping on a dying acro.

Five weeks not eating prepared food is a long time especially for this size. Since you got her out then I would suggest treating her with a round or two of Prazi and see if that helps.
