Permanently I'd say a 10' tank at least. You could house it in an 8' tank for a few years though. They get over a foot fairly quickly from what I understand.
I have a 360 and I think it would look pretty ridiculous in this size tank in a few years, honestly. They get way bigger than most tangs, length and girth.

Reminds me of a 135gallon I bought years ago up north. The guy had a pacu in there that could barely turn around. I donated the pacu to the shedd aquarium in chicago. Had to practically beg them to take it.
They grow fast but not 1ft in a year fast. 2-4 years and he'd outgrow a 6ft tank. I've got a spotted unicorn and he'll be headed into my "upgrade tank" in a few years I've had him for a year and a half and he's grown 2-3 inches to around six inches total. He's fat too if you ask anyone who's seen him in person
