k4 upgrade

Can anyone tell my why my k4s run backwards since i did the surflow upgrade. If i put my hand over they center of them it will cause them to stop and restart in the right direction but starting on there own they will run backwards??

are they on a wave maker?

no they are on a aqua controler which shuts them off autom at feeding time.

i read once that starting and stopping the korillias would make them turn on in reverse sometimes try taking them off the aq and see what happens

If the prop doesn't move up and down freely on the shaft then it could start backwards. by moving freely in and out it will hit the bumper on the shroud and spin it in the right direction.

I played around with modding my koralia 3 similar to the way I modded my tunze 6045. I removed every 3rd fin on the cover. Sometimes mine will run in reverse as well. While modding a tunze makes a huge difference in flow it didnt seem to do much on the koralia. Im planning on upgrading my powerhead situation soon anyway so no huge loss.
