First let me say that i couldn't be happier than i am wih both my osmolator and my calcium dispenser. It has really helped contribute to my low maintainence system.
I have a seven gallon bucket of top-off that i fill up every 8 days. The calcium dispenser sits inside. I refill with calc every 10 days. I have a 35 gallon mixed reef with a little bit of everything.
My levels are..
7kh
350-400 calc
I would like to bring these up but i am already using ~1.5 tablespoons per refill. The manual says 2 teaspoons and my internet searches have led me here.
What is the proper dose of powder to add? What amount is too much? What are the limitaitons of this system. Can i depend on it soley to provide my tank with consistant levels?
