Kalk dKH dropping

I have a 24 gallon container for my ATO system. About 4 days ago I added 148 grams Kalk to it and stirred it in. That should be 100% saturation based on this calculator

I drew off 1ml today and added to 9 ml of RO water. I tested with my Hanna checker and got a reading of 1.6 dkh. Multiplying by ten only gives me 16 . Far from fully saturated.

Any ideas?

What product did you use? I get about 1 cup to make 24g of saturated limewater, assuming the product is still 100% calcium hydroxide or calcium oxide, and there wasn't much stirring.

Stirring introduces carbon dioxide into the water, which will cover the Kalk to limestone.

Drs. Foster & Smith, Calcium hydroxide

Not sure what you mean by "cover the Kalk to limestone".

How do you dissolve Kalk if not by stirring (mixing)?

Oops, that was supposed to be "convert the Kalk to limestone." Stirring turns the Kalk back into rock, given enough time. So you want to stir very briefly. It's generally not that much of a problem, although one person used a pump to stir Kalk for an hour or two. It was just fine sand at that point.
