Kalk reactor DIY

Hello addicts. I was wondering if anyone has built a kalk reactor. Or if anyone was interested in building one. I'm currently doing research on the design and function of kalk reactors. Looks to be a piece of cake so far and fairly simplistic.

Reason? I have a CA reactor and I'm looking for ways to get the PH up in my reef.

So far it's pretty basic. Some guys arent even using a stirring pump. Only connecting to R.O. source and that's it. Your reef has a good deal on an aqua medic reef doser that I'm thinking of incorparating into the design. My house goes into escrow (hopefully this week) and that will determine my final plans.

I would copy the GEO reactor. It looks easy to reproduce and they work very well.

That is the one we use (the PM reactor itself, from MD). They used all standard fittings to make it, so it should be easy enough to copy . And that is a regular MJ 400 that they use to "stir" it.

im interested in making one as well! Am I missing something I dont see an outlet on the reactor

There is two ports on top of the unit. Its the quick disconnect type commonly seen in ice maker hoses. Cant get any easier than quick disconnects. Very easy design.
