kalkwasser addition

I don't have a sump and was thinking about adding Kalkwasser to the tank via a (new) pump sprayer , modify the sprayer by taking the wand off and adding a valve to control the drip. do you all think this would work?

How long would you be able to maintain pressure to ensure the drip works?

Have you looked into the gravity-fed dosers?

If it malfunctions and dumps a lot of kalk in the tank at one time, it will be bad.

I use a gal milk jug/water jug and poked a hole on the bottom of it and connected a IV drip hose. Works great. Dont buy the kent kalk, its not so great IMO

I was look for a inexpensive way to dose the Kalkwasser and dont really have any room at the top of the tank to set a bottle or jug to drip the Kalkwasser . I guess i will look at a dosing pump. I'm open for any other suggestions .

Thanks for all the feed back . I will look into the kent dripper .
