IF you want anecdotal experience facts then I will give you one. But like all the guys said here, read on what kalk really does and how to use it.
What I do is mix a weeks worth of kalk in a 32 gallons brute garbage can and seal it well (some people would disagree with this setup). At this point I mix 2 tsp/gallon of kalk and add around 24 mls or vinegar/gallon. My sytem does not need anymore at this time. But start 1/2-1 tsp per gallon on how much you need. Really whatch your alk levels. Test them the same time of the day. I use a ATO system through my Apex Monitor with double switches. I also drilled a tiny hole on the top of the return line in the brute can so the solution wont syphon into my sump. Hope some of this info helps.
