Kat's 120g Build Thread

Kat have you found a source for Tonga branch? If not good luck finding it...that stuff's getting rare as hens teeth.

Well my advice would be to start shopping and ask around all the shops and see what they are stashing away...and unfortunately be prepared to spend at a premium if its a must have item.

congrats Kat-i can't keep up w/ your threads!!

I wonder if Marco has Tonga style rock??

Did you p/u brians 150nw octo-you'll love it if ya did-mines pumpin sweet skimmate-ok not sweet but you get the idea.

I agree that if you can create those awsome works of art w/ paint then stacking should be your next artistic output-just be sure to keep it stable and simple!

Marco? Marco? (oh....i can't...but i have to...Polo?) Who is this new best friend and where do i find him?

Yup, i did get brians Octo...one of the things i need to p/u this weekend.....

Thank you for the compliment...i do love stacking rock...and after numerous ones that fell...i think i'm finally at a point where i may have found the right "touch". and it's completely relaxing.

:fish1:

remember good things come from rocks coming down one you get to redo your rock stack and the other is fraggs hehe

okay gang...stopped by MO last night on our way back from Jeff's and found....YES! Tonga. Got some decent pieces....off to Home Depot to p/u jacks for the basement cross beams under the tank...drilling floor and hopefully getting this 120g up and filled with water by the end of the weekend. Color me flippin' happy.

ok all these tanks-what kind of water change routine to you keep?

a very busy one.

i don't like to sit still for very long...between the dogs, the aviary and the tanks and painting, yoga, theater, keyboardist and Mom to a 4 year old...there is very little down time. And that's the way I like it!:p

update: the floor is braced. the floor to the basement is drilled. the area under the tank is clear. You're up Mel.:strange:

It's only a day away... (yup, a song for everything)

Have to be somewhere at 2:30 but if necessary can come back after.
