Kat's 90g

maybe i'm just saying it wrong, Jeff...same length as a 90g, but deeper, higher. that's one of those things i need to learn...lol.

and that's why i need you guys around! thanks, Jeff...i love it...the height is just perfect for viewing from the couch...it will be one of the first things people see so i want it to be amazing.

so here 'tis....the results of the "beam me up, Mel" trip to ABC Reefs in Syracuse:

my favorite find of the day (and ABC beat any other price around) Walking Dendro (The Walking Dendro is very new to the aquarium trade - only a few have every made it into the hobby so far. It resembles Whisker Corals (Dendrophyllia sp.) and Cup Corals (Balanophyllia sp.) but is actually a very different coral. The coral itself grows on one single head like the Cup Corals but is photosynthetic as opposed to the other two corals mentioned. It grows around a hole in its base where a worm species takes up residence. This worm gives the coral its "walking reputation" - as the worm moves around the tank, it takes the coral with it. The coral can however survive without its worm "transportation".)

Awesome Kat. You are a lucky lady, for I was at ABC the weekend before and picked up a purple rim montipora that Tim ordered for me. I kept going back and looking at that ORA Purple Plasma acro! Beautiful piece of coral. Enjoy

Those guys are great and i always am on a budget-they always help me find the most bang for my $10. Sometimes $20 depends on how many bottles and cans I return before visiting them!

hahahhahaha. yeah, i'm usually down to coins by the time i'm outta any store...i could have spent a heck of a lot more...some very good deals to be had!

okay...lights just came on about 30mins ago...i'll get some pics up...but what the happy dance is indicating is a new fish (thanks Jason)...pretty little fairy wrasse, a clove polyp, some electric blue palys and assorted ricordea (MO) and some pulsating xenia (jason).

also...thank you, Jeff!!!!! red planet and blue tort frags.

in a tub in the basement is some LR circulating for the 120g. Pics to follow.

been so preoccupied with the 120g, kinda forgot i owed you guys pics. was out and about today and picked up a few things i just couldn't pass over...a nice fat, fluffy rainbow lobo 3 heads, a decent sized frag of poci which had encrusted the plug and a beautiful long skirt paly (ABC...and a special thanks to G for the time he took with me for advice on the 120g....excellent info and conversation.), and a super sweet pink/yellow happy happy fungia from CF. Nice day.
