crazy sponge (thanks, Pascal) and lobos from the OC last year - these guys are splitting like crazy. started out with three...there are now seven. (four in this pic...broke off 3 in another area)

this guy scared the crap outta me. it is actually PART OF THE ROCK that I got from Pascal. Until he was free, he couldn't open and close...but snaps all the time now...

this nem started out a year ago about the size of a quarter...it now hosts two full size clowns...with lots of extra room.

Kat that is one busy tank. I'm liking the cave area as well. Do you have some kind of flow working around the backside of the rocks?
 
thank you! there is only one rock that touches the glass on the back side. the way i have the powerheads...finally...the flow meets front and center and deflects back through the caves...and there are plenty of them. So there's the return (dual) and two K4's.
 
Yeah I just set my 90 gallon up and still playing with Flow. I have 2 K4s, my return line and a MP40 :eek1: Might have too much flow.. Still dialing it in.

How much rock you have in there? It looks like a lot but I know pictures can be deceiving.

Oh and that rock Nem is freakin awesome. Do they like a lot of light?
 
I really have no idea pound wise how much is in there. lol. I know I took alot out when i restacked...some went up to the hex tank, some base to the 120g...and i still have quite a bit in my sump in the basement....and i've given some away, too. The green rock nem seems to like high light, high flow. the pink and white rock nem likes low light and a little flow. So...answer to question...guess it depends on the nem!

I just realized i was very little help in answering your questions....wow.
 
NP. Most of questions are way out there anyways.. Do those Rock Nems wander like others or do they stay put for you were you placed them?
 
both rock nems stayed within 3 inches of where i initially put them. now...i coulda got lucky..i don't know...but every nem i've put in my tanks with the exception of the Haddoni which is in the 120g, has stayed put.
 
the sponge came on a rock from Blurry. It's been in my tank for a few months now and seems to be staying healthy. I believe it has crept around the back and a little on a rock that it is touching...so i think that's a good sign. Doesn't look like it's going to be a take over. ;)
